Healy McKeown Architects offers a bespoke design service, where all of our design projects are drawn bespoke for each client and site, ensuring that your project fully meets your requirements in relation to function, style and space. We offer a 3D computer model service, which is an integral part of our design process for our new builds from the very first draft, to give our clients the opportunity to see the full picture of their new home, and make any necessary adjustments before moving forward to the next stage of their project.
Planning specialists
With experience in dealing with a wide variety of planning applications in UK and Ireland, including residential, commercial and industrial applications. Healy McKeown Architects offer all our clients our planning stage service, which deals with the preparation and submission of their planning application, as well as communicating with the local authority and any necessary third parties throughout the planning procedure, to ensure the process is as smooth as possible.
With you all they way
Following any necessary planning approvals, Healy McKeown Architects provide a Building Control package service, providing the construction drawings for your project, ensuring compliance with building regulations and receiving approval from the necessary local Building Control authority. We liaise directly with third party services such as a structural engineer and energy consultant where required. A tender package service is also available to assist our clients in appointing their contractor by providing the necessary drawings, contracts, specification and documentation.
Start to Finish
Healy McKeown Architects offer contract administration and site inspection services throughout the duration of your build, offering peace of mind that your project is progressing as planned, and also knowing that we are on hand to deal with any queries that may arise on site. We work closely with the client and contractor throughout the process to ensure the journey that all important completion and handover meeting is as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

With over 30 years of experience in the construction industry, Donal has worked on various projects in the commercial and private sectors in Germany, the UK and more recently Dublin.
Coming from a technical background, Donal combines design flair with a meticulous eye for detail, ensuring the seamless delivery of projects from conception to reality.
Beyond the professional realm, Donal is an avid sailer and can often be found navigating his way along the local coastline aboard his sailboat.

Michael is a chartered architect with experience working in the UK, Ireland and Canada, specilaising in both residential and commercial projects.
Michael believes in delivering architecture that offers high-quality sustianable design solutions that are uniquely tailored to the requirements of each client. With an in-depth understanding of local planning policies, he excels in crafting bespoke design solutions that demonstrate sensitivity to the surroundings and contextual nuances.
Michael’s recent personal venture in self-building, culminating in the completion of his own home, has given him first hand experience and a valuable insights into the role of the architect as both designer and client.

Conor, a chartered architect, became part of the Healy McKeown team in 2018. His work spans public sector and residential projects across the UK and Ireland, with a focus on high-end residential designs. With a sharp eye for design and a family background in construction, Conor brings both creativity and practicality to each project. He enjoys working closely with clients from the initial concept to the final delivery, believing in architecture that's high quality, people-centered, and contributes to a more sustainable future.
Outside of work, you'll find Conor in his kayak, making a splash on local rivers, or spending time with his young family.
