The simple palette of materials, including smooth white render and a fibre-cement slate roof with clipped eaves allows for the traditional forms to be read in a contemporary manner.  The cantilevered corner at the front door creates an impressive arrival point, while the corner window takes further advantage of the breath-taking views.
