A collaborative design team working with you to create your vision

Delivering projects that stand the test of time

What We Do
At Healy McKeown Architects, we believe great design starts with listening. Our friendly, approachable team works closely with clients to understand their goals and bring their ideas to life.
We are a full-service architectural practice, offering support at every stage of your project — from initial design concepts and planning applications to construction drawings, tender packages, and on-site inspections. For clients who don’t require the full service, we can tailor a bespoke package to suit your specific needs.
No matter the size or scale, every project receives the same level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail.
Healy McKeown Architects offers a wide range of services, tailored to the bespoke needs of each individual client:

Coming from a technical background, Donal brings design flair accompanied with a keen eye for detail ensuring project delivery from conception to reality. Outside of the office, Donal enjoys photography, family time and can often be found sailing the open waters around the north coast!
Michael believes in delivering architecture that offers high quality, sustainable design that is bespoke to each individual client. He has in depth knowledge of local planning policy and specialises in tailored design solutions that are sensitive to their surroundings and context. Michael recently completed his own self-build project ‘Farrantemple Glebe’, as featured on RTÉs Home of the Year for 2025.
Outside of the office, Michael enjoys travelling, running, and can often be found walking the North Coast with his dog Mabel.
Outside of work, Annita enjoys running, cycling, the gym, and spending time in the garden — all of which feed into her love of the outdoors and an appreciation for natural materials and landscapes.
Beyond architecture, Ross enjoys game design, creative writing and art. His piece Threaded Verse – A Portrait of Seamus Heaney, crafted from a single 5,000-metre thread, is currently held in The Naughton Gallery, Belfast.
Outside of work, Ed enjoys running and playing the guitar in his spare time, appreciating music as another form of creative expression.
Outside of work, Karen can often be found reading a good book, exploring the outdoors on a walk, or enjoying quality time with her family.
